Arsenal believe the £34m acquisition of Fabio Vieira from Porto will help Leeds sign Winger Rafinha from United this summer.
It was highly expected that the Brazilian players would move to Barcelona, but due to the current financial difficulties of the Catalan side, the doors were opened on both sides of the Premier League and Arsenal already had a proposal prepared.

Super agent Jorge Mendes (who runs Gestifte and is known as Cristiano Ronaldo) has played an integral role in Arsenal’s deal with VIERA, and Rafinha’s agent Deco is working with him.
The relationship that Arsenal established with Gestifte and Mendes during the signing of VIERA could play an important role in Rafinha’s decision at the next club, and the speed and professionalism that the Mets agreed with Porto is also appreciated. .
But Barca are still in the running, and Rafina is willing to wait while Tottenham are also monitoring the situation to finally see if the Catalan giants can muster the money to do so.
