Manchester City won’t let Raheem Sterling get any cheaper this summer as Chelsea will need a 35m offer to get the winger.

The England team is considering its future at the Etihad with one year left on its contract. Because it shrank after the arrival of Arling Holland and Julián Álvarez.

Chelsea are monitoring the Sterling situation and have become confident that they have won the rebel bargain deal of the contract and are ready to submit offers of 3.535 million.

However, Sky Sports reports that City have no plans to drop the 27-year-old at such a relatively affordable price and require strikers over 50 metres.

Chelsea wanted to use the signing of Sadio Mané by Bayern Munich as a sign of negotiations for Sterling, but Liverpool agreed to sell the Senegalese striker.

However, Citi rejects this logic on the grounds that it sells to Premier League rivals, and potentially title rivals, three years younger than Sterling.

City will sell both Sterling and Gabriel Jesús this summer, so the defending champion wants more than 100 meters in two loans.

For his part, Sterling has agreed to sign for Chelsea and wants to return to London – he left QPR for Liverpool as a teenager – but is still assessing his options.

Flanger’s high salary means few clubs can buy him. He is not satisfied with the rotation that Pep Guardiola is doing and he wants to play an important role in the next team.

In addition to Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona are also pending the status of Sterling.

After a supporting role in the first half of last season, Sterling played more regularly at the end of the year, scoring 13 goals in 30 Premier League games, a goal every 118 minutes on average.
