Chelsea will sign Raheem Sterling at Manchester City after Wing signed a £300,000 weekly deal.
The Telegraph reports that Chelsea will pay England £45m.
Sterling will overtake Goofy to become Chelsea’s top payer with a £300,000 weekly deal.
Negotiations between Chelsea and Citi are known to be completed within 24 hours.
Chelsea expect Sterling to fly to Los Angeles with his new teammates on Saturday for the start of the preseason tour.
The Telegraph reports that Sterling was impressed with Tuchel’s plans and that the discussions between the couples were “constructive”.
He has been asked by Sterling to leave town in May to increase England’s playing time at the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
Last season, the 27-year-old scored 13 Premier League goals and started 23 games. In the Champions League, he started five of Citi’s twelve games in the tournament.
During his time at Citi, Sterling won nine trophies, including four Premier League titles.
At the same time, Chelsea are about to sign the arrival of Sterling by signing two new defenders.
The club is discussing a deal between Juventus and Matais de Rigut, but the Dutch prefer to join the race at Bayern Munich.
