Tyson sues Hulu for series about his life: ‘They’re slave traders’

by

THE Mike Tyson secured against the platform Hulu for the August 25th miniseries, which chronicles his tumultuous life, from his storied career in the ring to the 1992 rape conviction that led to his three-year prison sentence.

They stole my life story and didn’t pay me“, the legendary boxer wrote on Instagram and added: “Hulu is the equivalent of a trafficker».

THE Steven Rogers, the show’s creator and writer, claims he was unable to discuss with Tyson because another project already had the rights to his life story. “I don’t like to rely on just one source,” Rogers pointed out, defending his biopic, which was produced without the former heavyweight champion’s approval.

The series also chronicles the American star’s childhood abuse, the loss of his mother to cancer as a teenager, and his struggles with mental health and drug addiction. “I hope that if he sees the series, he will change his mind”, commented Steven Rogers meaningfully.
