Comfortable win for National Junior Polo World Championship over Brazil

Second victory in as many games was achieved by the National Youth Polo at the World Championship in Belgrade. Elias Machira’s side comfortably defeated Brazil 20-8, storming throughout the match.

The game started with the Greek internationals creating a safe goal difference (5-2), which gave them a boost in view of the continuation. The difference in quality was great, something that was also proven inside the playing field with the half ending at 12-5.

The continuation was similar with Greece reaching 20 active goals without putting a “brake” at any point. “First violins” in the attack were Christos Bitsakos, Andreas Almyras and Konstantinos Mathiopoulos with 4 goals each.
