The Europa League group stage draw has ended, with Manchester United facing Real Sociedad and Arsenal facing PSV Eindhoven.
The Gunners were selected in Group A alongside PSV, Bodo/Glimt and FC Zurich.
Group E includes Real Sociedad, Sheriff Tiraspol, Omonia and Eric Athens The Hague’s Red Devils.
Last season, United reached the knockout stages of the Champions League but lost to Atletico Madrid.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are back in European competition after missing out on European games altogether last season.
Last season’s champion Eintracht Frankfurt beat Rangers in the final in May to advance to the Champions League group stage.

The first round matches will take place on Thursday 8 September and the six group stage matches will be played on Thursday according to the Champions League schedule.
The group winner will advance directly to the round of 16, while the group runner-up will advance to the knockout round of the playoffs to face the Champions League team that finished third in their group.

The group stage ends on Thursday 3rd November and the final draw for the playoff stage will take place on Monday 7th November.
The final of the competition will be held on May 31 at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
