Historic day for Slovenian volleyball. The ex-Yugoslav country’s men’s national team beat Ukraine 3-1 in their second ever World Cup quarter-final, co-hosting with Poland, to advance to the last four of the tournament for the first time in their history.
The big protagonist and first scorer of the organizers was Tsembouli with 23 points. He was helped by Urnaut with 11 points, just 1 point for Stern of Olympiakos.
