Panagiotis Trivyzas will compete in the athletics department of Panathinaikos this season as well. The Greek sprinter renewed his collaboration with the “clover” for another year, as announced by Erasitechnis on Wednesday.
This year, Trivyzas won the silver medal in the Panhellenic indoor and outdoor championships, two bronze medals in the Balkan Games, while he was fifth in the Mediterranean Games in Algeria.

“The Panathinaikos Athletic Club announces the renewal of its partnership with Panagiotis Trivyzas for the athletics department for the 2022-23 competitive season.
The international with the National athletics team, Panagiotis Trivyzas, will continue to wear the “green” and strengthen the department in the new year.
Last year he achieved many important awards both at the collective level and with the National Team. In particular, he won the silver medal in the 200 meters at the Panhellenic Indoor Championships, while he won the bronze medal in the open track.
He also won two bronze medals at the Balkan Games in the 200m and 4x100m relay, while finishing fifth at the Oran Mediterranean Games in the 200m.
Great was his success with the 4×100 relay at the Balkan Championship, where he won the gold medal.
In total, he has been named the Greek champion six times in the 200 meters in the indoor track and twice in the open track.
At the same time, in 2018 he was named the Balkan champion in open athletics, while he has participated in the European Athletics Championships in Berlin (in the 200 meters) and in the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow (in the 60 meters).
In 2017, he achieved the eighth best Panhellenic performance of all time in the 200 meters in a time of 20.58.
