Each time, the Pancyprian Table Tennis Federation conducts its regular tournament towards the end of the year, this year it does so a few days before Christmas and gives it, of course, a festive tone.

The POEA invited, of course, the Greek federation this year as well and the latter responds with joy. The event will take place in Nicosia, December 17-19, concerns the age categories under 15 and under 21 (up to Young men-Young women) and EFOEPA will take part with full teams.

In the boys, there will be Iasonas Kordoutis (Panathinaikos athlete), Alexandros Madesis (AEK), Costas Milikoudis (Filia Orestiada), Costas Sotiriou (Finikes Patras) and in the girls Chrysi Fotiadou (CHAN Thessaloniki), Slanta also, athletes of HAN Thessaloniki) and Despina Abba (Sarises of Florina).

The national coach, Costas Vatsaklis, took over as head of mission and in charge of the men’s team, while the coach of XANTH, Eftychia Perri, will be in charge of the women’s technical guidance.

The tournament, which always has a good level of competition and takes place with a small number of countries, will be hosted at the “Evangelos Florakis” Training Center in Nicosia. It includes group and individual in the four categories.

On Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th of the month, the group will be held and from the afternoon of the second day until Sunday the individual.

The system for conducting team meetings is the corbion, so each team can be formed with two athletes.

Kordoutis and Madesis will be the U21 team, Milikoudis and Sotiriou the U15 team. Fotiadou will work with Gaidatzi in the U21 team, while Aba and Tzaridou, who are girls until the end of the year, will play in the U15 team.

The mission will go to Cyprus next Thursday.
