The suspicions of sexual offenses of its president Beitar Jerusalem emerged during a secret investigation that lasted several months. A source close to the investigation said that Hogek is suspected of transporting minors from Eastern Europe to Israel in many cases for sexual purposes and that he forced them to have sex with his partners.
Seven more suspects were also arrested, most of them former or current associates or employees of the Beitar Jerusalem. They are suspected of theft, money laundering and other offenses.
