Pelé’s daughters say that their father is doing well after being hospitalized again

Flavia Kurtz, Pelé’s daughter, posted a photo on her Instagram last Wednesday (8) alongside her father. He was again admitted to Albert Einstein Hospital for treatment of a colon tumor.

According to Flavia’s publication, Pelé is doing well and had his last chemotherapy session of the year at the hospital. He thanked the affection received and said that fans of the King of Football could be calm with their health.

Kely Nascimento, who lives in the US, also shared his sister’s photo with his father and said he should return home in a few days to spend Christmas with his family. According to her, the procedure had been scheduled for months and is part of the treatment against the tumor.

The last note released by the hospital, on Wednesday, states that Pelé is stable and the forecast is that he will be discharged in the coming days.

The King of Football was hospitalized at the same place from August 31st to September 30th. Four days after being admitted for tests, he underwent surgery to remove the tumor.

During hospitalization, he was taken a few times to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit), the last time on September 16th. According to the bulletin released at the time, the ace had respiratory instability.

He was discharged on September 30th. On October 23, he turned 81 years old.

On the 17th, Pelé posted a post on his social networks to update the public about his health.
