On November 23-26, Olympiacos participated in EPSI Annual Conference (European Platform for Sport Innovation) in Belgium, with a series of lectures, discussions, interactive panels, and match-making sessions to discuss prospects in the world of sports, in relation to health, tourism, culture, sustainability and business creation.
Contacts were developed with sports organizations, innovation companies, universities abroad with the aim of creating proposals that will be submitted to the European Commission in the next period.
The common goal is one more participatory and democratic sport, offering an inclusive dimension at both professional and amateur level.
Also, the Final Meeting of the Big4Sports program took place in the same place, under the coordination of EPSI and the participation of Olympiacos. The BIG4SPORTS aims to link funding sources (public and private) with sports organizations for the joint development of new and innovative cooperation programs in Good Governance for Sports. The activities of the program are completed at the end of December, but the establishment of the best and most effective standards is now an important element for the development of a comprehensive methodology for strengthening the good governance capabilities of sports organizations.
