In the images, a shirtless man provokes the opposing fans and, with his arms outstretched, shakes his body over and over again.
“Look at him imitating a monkey,” says one person in the video. The report tried to contact Grêmio’s advisors, but received no response until the publication of this text. The administration of the Grêmio stadium told UOL that it is investigating the facts and that it will manifest itself as soon as it has all the information gathered.
This Sunday, after a 3-1 loss to the São Paulo club in the Brazilian Championship, fans of the team from Rio Grande do Sul invaded the field and vandalized the VAR’s booth.
