Rayssa Leal, 14, won the final of the Skate Street World League this Sunday (6) in Rio de Janeiro.
The skater from Maranhão caused apprehension in the public by interrupting a lap after feeling a twinge of pain in her chest, but she continued on the race and, at her last chance, hit the maneuver that guaranteed her victory.
Very emotional and crying after the test, Rayssa said that she had dreamed several times about the title.
“We’ve been training a lot for this, I even commented that I’d already dreamed of this title three times. Finally, he left, and I’m very happy to win the Worlds at home. Everyone here helped me a lot . I have no words to describe my happiness right now”, said the skater.
About the pain she felt during the exhibition, the champion commented that “out of nowhere there was a very strong pain, but Heavenly Father healed me and we managed to take this mug home.”
