Hamilton: “We have a huge uphill climb to get back”

A difficult season in Formula 1 is slowly coming to an end for him Lewis Hamilton and the Mercedes. THE British driver remains winless in the season with two races remaining, in Brazil and Abu Dhabi. If she fails to take first place in either of the two remaining grands prix, she will be first time in his 15-year career that will complete a year without a win.

Speaking to F1’s official website, the seven-time world champion spoke about the things the German team needs to fix in order to put this year’s poor season behind them and get back into world championship contention.

“The hill we have to climb is huge. For us, it is important to imagine the challenge as the steepest and hardest mountain because if we think of it as something normal, we will not succeed. This means we have to work hard. There’s a lot of work we’ve already done to understand where we are, what went wrong in the previous decisions we made last year for this year. In order to make the right steps for next year, we need to have the right communication, there are no misunderstandings about what I feel in the car and what I want from it, and to ensure that we continue the dialogue.”emphasized Hamilton.
