The second training session of the Brazilian team’s preparation in Turin for the Qatar World Cup featured an almost complete group, after, on Monday (14), only 14 athletes went to the field – the rest, for having played over the weekend, they did some repair work on the inside.
With autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and Turin’s location relatively close to the Alps mountains, the training took place with temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius and humidity above 90%, around 15:00 local time (11:00 GMT).
At the same time, in Doha, the capital of Qatar, 29 degrees Celsius and 57% humidity were recorded.
Before the activities, Tite had a quick chat with the players, organized in a circle. 25 athletes were present.
Defender Marquinhos, who did not play for Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday due to muscle discomfort, was spared in the early part of the activity and arrived after an hour. He ran around the field.
Then, with the goalkeepers in specific training, activities with passing the ball were organized with two groups of ten athletes.
Defender Bremer and right-back Danilo, who played for Juventus on Sunday, stayed apart, doing lighter exercises. The steering wheel Casemiro, at the end of the training, held individual races.
Neymar, who arrived in Turin late, along with Marquinhos, due to a problem with the aircraft, participated in almost all the training. In the final part, dedicated to submissions, he left the pitch.
The team will stay in Turin until Saturday (19), when it will travel to Qatar in the afternoon – arrival is scheduled for 23:00, Doha time (17:00 GMT).
This week, in Italy, training is scheduled in the afternoon, with the exception of Friday, with activity in the morning.
During the period, the delegation is staying at the J Hotel, part of the Juventus sports complex, where the training center is also located, in the vicinity of the Allianz Stadium.
The city, Turin, is the same city where Brazil played all its Coppa Italia matches in 1990.
In that World Cup, the three games of the first phase and the one in the round of 16, when Argentina eliminated the selection, took place at the Delle Alpi stadium, which was demolished in 2009.
