The second stage of the group stage of the World Cup had its first elimination this Friday (25). In group A, the host Qatar said goodbye to the world cup after losing to Senegal and seeing the draw between the Netherlands and Ecuador.

Iran beat Wales 2-0 in a heroic dispute for group B. The decisive goal, which opened the scoring, came three minutes from the end of the match and was the first goal from outside the area in the tournament. Wales are in the danger zone, with just one point.

The match between England and the United States ended in a 0-0 tie. The result upset Group B of the World Cup. As Iran surprised by defeating Wales 2-0, the four teams in the group reach the last round with a chance of qualifying.
