Neymar and Alex Sandro recover from injuries with exercises in the pool

The three injured players of the Brazilian national team in the World Cup in Qatar, Neymar, Alex Sandro and Danilo, continued this Wednesday (30) the recovery program established by the medical and physical commissions of the team.

The CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) released a video that shows, for the most part, Tite’s men in training in Doha, the day before the match against Cameroon, on Friday (2), in Lusail (15 km from Qatari capital).

A small section shows what the injured players were doing away from the ball.

Neymar, with an injury to his right ankle, and Alex Sandro, with a hip problem, were moving around in a pool. The exercises focused on the legs and feet.

The number 10, Brazil’s main player, seemed to be in a good mood. There is the expectation that he can return to the team next week, starting from the round of 16.

Danilo, injured in his left ankle, dedicated himself to exercising on an ergometric bicycle.

With the selection classified for the knockouts after the victories over Serbia and Switzerland, Tite will most likely take a reserve team to the field against the Cameroonians, to rest more days for the holders and avoid injuries to them.

Brazil’s opponent in the round of 16 will leave the group that has Portugal, Ghana, South Korea and Uruguay.
