The Wednesday (30) of the World Cup ends with Argentina, Poland, France and Australia classified for the round of 16. One of the highlights was Tunisia’s victory over champion France, however, the combination of results in the group took the African team out of the next phase.
On Thursday (1), groups E and F (see list below🇧🇷 The two matches of each group take place at the same time, at 12h and 16h. At the end of each day of the event, the Sheet publishes the summary and statistics of the games, such as shots on goal, ball possession and other numbers.
Group C
Saudi Arabia vs Mexico
Mexico overcame Saudi Arabia by 2 to 1, but said goodbye to the Cup. The first half started busy, with the Mexican team going on the attack, but without any organization. Even with the victory, Mexico was left out because of the goal difference, that’s because Saudi Arabia got a goal in stoppage time and helped qualify Poland.
Poland vs Argentina
Argentina dominated the dispute against the Polish national team and advanced to the next phase with a score of 2 to 0. The result made Argentina take the first position of Group C. On Saturday (3), at 4 pm, they will face Australia .
Group D
Tunisia vs France
Even winning 1-0 against France, Tunisia ended up not qualifying for the round of 16. This was Tunisia’s first victory over a European team in World Cups. The move that was worth it and defined the match was carried out by Wahbi Khazri, in the 13th minute of the second half.

A Leckie goal in the 15th minute secured Australia’s 1-0 victory over Denmark. The European team, which was considered one of the favorites for the vacancy in the key, alongside France, is on the way.
