Thetis lost in the “golden” set, after trailing 3-0 in regulation time, to Legionowo in Poland in their second match of the women’s Challenge Cup volleyball first round and did not capitalize on the 3-0 set in their favor in Rentis last week in the first leg, being left out of the “32” of the third tier European club competition.
In the “golden” set, Thetis led 8-6 and 9-7, but Legionovo with a 3-0 run led 10-9. Thetis equalized at 10-10, but the Poles with another 5-0 run reached the final 15-10.
