The group stage final at the World Cup yielded yet another day of surprises. South Korea was classified after turning the score against Portugal, and Brazil lost to Cameroon, but maintained the first place in the group and the qualification for the round of 16.
On Saturday (3), the knockout stage begins, with two games a day (see list below🇧🇷 The two departures take place at 12:00 and at 16:00. At the end of each day of the event, the Sheet publishes the summary and statistics of the games, such as shots on goal, ball possession and other numbers.
GROUP G
Cameroon vs Brazil
Cameroon came out victorious in the match, by 1 to 0. Despite the score, the Brazilian team finished first in Group G, with six points. The team will face South Korea next Monday (12), at 4 pm (BrasÃlia time), at Estádio 974, for the round of 16.
Serbia vs Switzerland
In a balanced game, very disputed and full of goals, Switzerland started winning, took the turn, went after the tie and turned the match against Serbia. The 3-2 ranked second in Group G. Four of the five goals came in the first half.
GROUP H
South Korea vs Portugal
After beating the Portuguese 2-1, on the comeback, with a goal in the last minute of regulation time, the Koreans celebrated Uruguay’s victory “only” by 2-0, a result that left the Asians and the South Americans tied at points, but the Koreans had an advantage in terms of goals scored (4 against 2).
Ghana vs Uruguay
Ghana had a penalty at the beginning of the match and wasted it, changing the whole story of the game won by Uruguay by 2-0. -Americans.
