Firsts for PAOK and Filippo Amyntaiou in the Panhellenic Championship individual singles

With PAOK taking first place in the general ranking and first place in the women’s category, and Philippos Amyntaiou retaining the scepter in the men’s category, the curtain fell in Amyntaio for the individual events for the Panhellenic Judo Championship, the last domestic event for the 2022. The Thessaloniki club with four gold medals and one silver was at the top of the general standings, at the same time that Philippos had two gold, three silver and two bronze medals.

Elisavet Teltsidou and Theodoros Tselidis, judokas of PAOK, who next week will participate in the Masters that will be held in Jerusalem in the context of… looking for distinctions and points in view of the Olympic Games in Paris, proposed at -78 and -90 kg respectively . Savvas Karakizidis (-66kg) and Katerina Theodorakopoulou (-48kg) also won gold medals on behalf of PAOK, while Giorgos Markarian was 2nd (-73kg).

On the other side, Dimitris Yiannopoulos, judoka of Filippos Amyntaios, who in 2022 won the bronze medal in the U18 World Championship, took first place in the -73 kg category. The rest of the medals for the Macedonian club were won by P. Mavromatis (1st place, +100k.), M. Karipidis (2nd place, -60k.), Fotis Karipidis (2nd place, -66k.), Elpida Efrosyn Katsaoni (2nd place , -78k.), Panagiotis Kofidis (3rd place, -73k.) and A. Kotanidis (3rd place, -90k.).

-63 Mr. : D. Androutsou (Nikiforos Anatoli of Ioannina)

-70k. : Al. Papagiannakis (Panhellenic)

+78k.: N. Voulpasin (Panhellenic)
