by

The men’s national polo team defeated Italy 12-11 in their second friendly match played at the Petros Kapagerov Stadium and got an uncharacteristic revenge for last Tuesday’s defeat in their first warm-up match.

On the platforms were the General Secretary, George Mavrotas, the President of the KOE, Kyriakos Giannopoulos, the First Vice-President of the Federation, George Afroudakis, the General Secretary, Stefanos Avgouleas, and the member of the Board of Directors, Thodoris Moustakarias.

With a very strong defense for most of the game, the representative group blocked the assets of “Setebelo” and, with many solutions offensively, took the lead from the start.

The difference in the third eight minutes reached 11-7, with the Italians making their counterattack in the last four minutes without changing anything.
