Security cameras at the Sutton Barcelona nightclub show that Brazilian player Daniel Alves, 39, spent 16 minutes in the bathroom with the 23-year-old woman who accuses him of rape.
The investigations run in secret of Justice, but the information was published this Sunday (22) by the newspaper El Periódico, the same one that had already published excerpts of the young woman’s testimony before the Spanish judge on Friday (20).
After her statement, the judge decreed preventive detention and without the right to bail the athlete, since he contradicted himself during his speeches in the City of Justice in Barcelona. At one point, the player would have taken her to the bathroom. There, she would have said “that I couldn’t leave and that I had to tell him that I was his little bitch”.
Always according to the testimony, published by Spanish newspapers, Alves would have forced the woman’s head onto his penis and then slapped her. Then he would have turned the young woman into position and penetrated her until he ejaculated.
After informing the security guards, the victim was seen at Hospital Clínic, whose medical report would point to traits consistent with an assault. Two days later, she filed a complaint with the Mossos d’Esquadra, the Catalan police. She handed over the medical report, which would point out traits consistent with an assault, and also the dress she was wearing.
At the time of the alleged rape, the winger had extended his vacation period after the World Cup played in Qatar with the Brazilian national team.
