“One of the special and most successful was the 2nd Training Seminar of the AEK Academies Network for the 2022-23 season held on the weekend of January 21 and 22.
The representatives of 23 collaborating clubs from all over Greece who were in Spata, they not only had the opportunity to watch a very interesting program providing expertise who combined, as always, theory and practice, but also to get to know him up close Matias Almeida on Saturday afternoon.
The coach of AEK gladly accepted her invitation of the Network Directorate, following the initiative of the Athletic Director of the Academy Ilias Kyriakidisto speak at the seminar and develop the topic “Family upbringing, social recruits and football career as factors in the development of a coach”.
The Argentinian technician was found on facilities of the Academy for about an hour, together with his direct partner and first team trainer Guido Boniniand he also had the opportunity to meet the executives of the Academy and the representatives of the clubs.
Once again, the main feature of the seminar was the wide range of topics. A key element was again interactivity, which made the process even more so interesting for the participants.
The value of creating strong was emphasized learning environmentwith recommendations that gave specific directions for the orderly operation of an Academy, while purely competitive issues were presented as well as the most “Alternatively”such as the correct use of social media by athletes, parents and trainers.
The training program was overseen by the Athletic Director of the Academy and Head of Network Training, Mr. Ilias Kyriakidiswho developed the theme titled “Training Environment”.
Saturday’s program was spent mainly on topics of a competitive natureas it included a match between AEK’s K14 teams and Kifissia and its analysis by the participants, while there was also a presentation by the head of the Academy’s goalkeeping department Dionysis Chiotis entitled “Investigation and analysis of the position of the goalkeeper in the modern era”.
Sunday’s program began with a training unit of K13 of AEK with a presentation by the team’s coaching staff (Tassos Stasinopoulos, George Papaleontiou, George Kioupis) and followed by a presentation by the Academy’s gymnast Jason Psarras on “Assessment of physical condition parameters by simple means”.
The coach of the U19 team Brave Karahalios analyzed the topic “Realistic training through an analytical method” and the day’s program was concluded with a presentation by the social media manager of PAE AEK Christina Koromilas with the theme “The power of Social Media in football”.
