In a warm and festive atmosphere, on Saturday 21/01/23, the New Year’s pie cutting event, of the official Panhellenic Association INTER CLUB GREECE, was held with great success in a restaurant in Athens.
The event was attended by the former soccer player and current Legend of the INTER Milan team, George Karagounis, where he gave the “opening kick” for the cutting of the pie.
Great Journalists of the area and Inter fans were at the same table, such as Antonis Katsaros (Mega), Nikos Syriodis (Sport24), Vassilis Moirotsos (Sportal, Nea), Dimitris Tomaras (Gazzetta) and of course the journalistically versatile Nikos Bozionelos being helper of the organization, as he gathered in the company of the Nerazzurri of journalism.
As every year, the Club distributed gifts to all the members who attended, as well as to the lucky winner of the pie. Official Inter Club gift packages were also made available to the selected guests, as well as Giorgos Karagounis was honored for his contribution to the favorite club of the event’s attendees.
The icing on the cake, however, came the next day. Members from Inter Club Greece had the opportunity to meet up close yet another legend of journalism as well as an Inter fan. Anyone who was lucky enough to pass by the lovely cafe courtyard of Pagratio could see Christos Sotirakopoulos surrounded by around 20 members of Inter Club Greece regaling him with stories about journalism and his experiences with the Italian club.
