The goal of Nicaea from this collaboration is for the club to acquire an academic-scientific structure of sports science applied to football, allowing its staff to update their knowledge and improve daily training.

“PAE Ionikos is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with the Football Science Institute both on an academic and scientific level.
The Football Science Institute is an International Training and Research Institute in Football Science. It provides 7 postgraduate programs in different fields that provide all the theoretical and practical skills required to work in professional football.
The FSI faculty consists of more than 130 members with the highest academic and practical expertise, who work in more than 55 professional football teams around the world.
Among the teams cooperating with FSI, there are clubs from all over the world and with high recognition such as Cadiz, Valencia, Betis, Besiktas, Dinamo Zagreb, Braga, as well as the Swedish national team.
The FSI laboratory contributes to the creation and development of scientific knowledge by publishing many of its research activities in different high-profile scientific conferences.
Ionikos and FSI have established a professional partnership in order to provide the club with an academic-scientific structure of Sports Science applied to football, allowing club staff to update their knowledge and improve daily training.
