by

He doesn’t find… medicine Milan! The Italian champions proved once again that they are going through a period of heavy crisis after experiencing a painful home defeat by a score 5-2 from Sassuolo reaching four consecutive matches without a win for the 20th matchday of Serie A!

They fell into 4th place of the standings the “rosoneri” who conceded three goals in a period 11 minutes in the first part thus reaching for the first time in their history the two consecutive matches that are crushed by four and five goals. Stefano Pioli is now in a difficult position, who even risked leaving last season’s MVP, Rafael Leao, on the bench.

Three point-breath for the Sassuolo which returned to winning ways after October 24 and 2-1 against Hellas Verona for the 11th matchday.

In the purely competitive part, the hosts were the ones who had the upper hand in the first minutes with Giroud scoring and the goal after the use of VAR being canceled as offside. However, from that point onwards, Sassuolo equalized in the 19′ after an assist by Berardi o Defrel sent the ball into the net of Tatarousanos for 1-0. A few seconds later the “Neroverdi” managed to reach a second goal as Berardi fed the Fratesi who with a terrible shot in the closed corner wrote the 2-0.

Milan looked for the goal and so on 23′ Calabria found him with a curled cross Giroud which elusive head reduced to 2-1 giving new data to the match. Nevertheless the whole of it Alessio Dionisi was not disturbed and on the half hour Berardi turned from creator to scorer by heading 3-1 which remained until half time.

However, there the scene for Milan did not change. Right with the cross Lorien entered the area with Calabria tripping him up conceding a silly penalty kick. The French winger did not let the opportunity go to waste and so in the 47th minute he raised the score to 4-1 for Sassuolo.

After eight minutes Milan tried to take the lead and Giroud scored again with his goal disallowed for the second time. Pioli made changes and Dionisi’s side took advantage of the hosts’ constant defensive confusion resulting in Mateus Enrique to take advantage of Berardi’s third assist giving dimensions of triumph to the score for the 5-1.

The crescendo of goals continued as in the 81st minute Divock Origi with a dream goal reduced it to 5-2 for Milan which remained until the end of the match, with the home fans strongly disapprove after the final whistle.
