The AEK family was mourned in the morning, after the death of the 1992 championship president, Konstantinos Generakis, one of the most important figures in the yellow and black history, who was distinguished both for his contribution to the public of our team and and for the ethos and quality of his character.
The deceased studied at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom, he was President of? .Σ. in the company “Farmanic ABEE” (pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry), as well as President of the Panhellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Industry for 15 years.
He first appeared in the management of AEK in the period 1982-83 alongside Andreas Zafeiropoulos and Michalis Arkadis with the title of vice president and managing director of the Board of PAE, while he was president of our team in three different periods.
In May 1991 he was elected president for the first time with 92% of the votes of the general assembly of PAE AEK in a highly successful one-year term that ended with the conquest of the first of the three consecutive championships of the three years 1992-94, shortly before the transfer of the company’s shares to the Melissanidis-Karra duo.
