The Statutory General Assembly of the Member Associations of the Hellenic Football Federation, which was held today in Thessaloniki, took the following decisions.
-With 53 votes in favor and one abstention, it was decided to provide a statutory five-day deadline for the issuing of decisions by the disciplinary bodies of the EPO, when the cases they judge are of a competitive nature and judge the results of matches or affect the score. Also, any judicial pending will be closed no later than June 30 of each year.
– It was unanimously decided to establish an office of the EPO in Thessaloniki, in the premises of the Macedonian Football Association, which will handle cases concerning the teams of Northern Greece.
-The payment of the given grant of 30,000 euros in total to each Association of Football Clubs of the country was unanimously approved.
-Following a request from Super League 2, it was decided by a majority (one white, one abstention) to issue a resolution with the following content:
“The Hellenic Football Federation supports the competition of the Super League 2 teams and requests that the agreed terms be respected in relation to their funding based on the existing KYA”.
-It was decided to send a letter to the Minister of Justice in order to amend the relevant provision and make it possible for cases to be adjudicated by disciplinary bodies based in Thessaloniki.
