The situation got out of hand a lot in a basketball tournament in Argentina between Adelante de Reconquista and Centro Recreativo de Calchaqui.
A player was found “out of himself” after a foul whistled against him, resulting in a punch to the referee!
It all started shortly before the end of the first half, when the referee attributed the offense to the player. He got upset and when he went to the bench of his team he kicked a glass, which fell and broke.
Then the referee expelled the player, for his behavior, with the latter running against him and using violence! Of course, the match did not continue and was stopped for a while the referee filed a lawsuit.
