Known for not… mincing his words, o Antonio Cassano launched an attack on Jose Mourinhoputting all the blame on him for Roma’s bad image and for the painful elimination from the continuation of the Cup, against Cremonese.

The former striker who had 161 appearances and 52 goals wearing the “Giallorossi” jersey, said in his statements that Mourinho was never a good coach but only a good communicator, while he blamed him for how he handled the Ganiolo and Karsdorp cases.

In detail what he said:

“Mourinho was never a good coach, he only knew how to talk to the media and he was a good communicator. It’s one disaster after another in Roma. He made them spend big on Nemanja Matic and Rui Patricio, players acquired by his own decision. Roma’s performance against Cremonese made me want to puke. Even if you play with your B team, you have to beat Cremonese.”

“The way he handled Karsdorp was a disaster. She insulted him in front of everyone. Now Karsdorp is back in the team, anyone know why? This is a mess. The same thing happened with Zaniolo. It’s been a year and a half since he took over and the team is not performing.”
