Christinaki: “The qualification should bring girls to basketball”

One matchday before the end of the EuroBasket 2023 qualifiers, the Women’s National Team sealed their qualification to the final phase. The “sweet” defeat by Portugal did not prevent the representative group from occupying the first place of the 7th Group by meeting in the summer on the courts of Slovenia and Israel.

Eleanna Christinaki spoke about the value of qualification and how much it can contribute to bringing more girls closer to women’s basketball. “The qualification is extremely important for women’s basketball in Greece.
