Eliasson: “We showed patience until we scored”

by

Niklas Eliasson emphasized that AEK could have scored more goals against Levadeiakos, he spoke about the streak that Union continues and believes there was no way for them to relax after the victory over Olympiakos in the Cup and he emphasized that he is happy for the assist he gave.

Analytically: “We knew they would fight and claim a good result. What we wanted and did was to show patience until we scored the first goal, and the second goal came in the first half. In the second half, we were able to score a third goal. We are happy that we can and continue this streak mainly at home. We’re really happy with today’s result.”

Was there a question mark of relaxation immediately after the great victory over Olympiakos? “After the nice win over Olympiacos, from a nice night with Olympiacos, we wanted to show that if we want to do something good this year, it’s not just derby wins, but all wins are necessary, especially in the league, so yes, we wanted to show seriousness, I think we did pretty well and managed to walk away with the win.”

On the assist he gave: “I like to give the assists to my teammates, especially with Van Weert today when I could and I gave him an assist and he scored. It’s something that makes me happy and I hope to continue the same.”
