Thanasis Antetokounmpo: “Yiannis has reshaped the word normal-My role is important”

Always clear and smiling, Mr Thanasis Antetokounmpo in an interview he gave to Sky Sportstalked about the John’s achievementshis role in Bucks but also for the “race” of the Eastern Conference for the ticket to the NBA Finals.

“Every time I see him play it really amazes me, the fact that he plays so well but at the same time is so dedicated to getting better is something you don’t see every day. He has reshaped the word normal because every performance is better than the last and many take it for granted when he scores 35 points and pulls down 15 rebounds.Thanasis initially stated.

“I could compete in many other teams and not only in Europe. However, I feel that my role here is very important, because I am always ready to do whatever my coach asks me to do. I’m enjoying every minute in Milwaukee, I’ve accomplished a lot and I’ll keep working hard“, stressed the Greek forward.

“In the East and in general in the NBA there is never a clear favorite for the tilt, all teams are strong and have excellent players. We have a very good team, I don’t know if we are considered favorites but what I will say is that we will do everything in our power to bring another title to the city of Milwaukee“, the 30-year-old said.

The Bucks of Giannis and Thanasis are currently in second place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 39-17 and only 1.5 games behind the leaders Celtics.
