Alijagic from Olympiakos to Maribor

He will continue his career in Slovenia, at least until the end of the season Denis Alijagic. The 19-year-old talented forward who was acquired from Olympiakos last summer and was in the second team, was loaned by the red and whites until the end of the football year in Maribor.

In fact, according to the announcement, it seems that there is an option to either buy it or extend the loan.

“I am very happy that we managed to find a solution and agree for me to come to a club that I have known since I was a child. I watched the broadcast of the match Maribor-Viktoria Plzen, I liked the atmosphere in the stadium, the fans, but also the special color of the shirt. When I heard about the possibility of moving to Maribor, I immediately accepted the challenge. At the beginning of the season I trained with the first team of Olympiakos, gaining valuable experience alongside teammates such as James Rodríguez, Marcelo, Valbuena. I know that there is a lot of competition waiting for me in the team, but I will do my best and I want to contribute my share to the new successes of Maribor”stated Alijagic during his announcement.
