Historic meeting of PSAPP with the National Women’s team

Meeting historybut also had a symbolic character PSAPP with the Women’s National Team.

The two sides met for the first time important issuessuch as the rights of the players, with the relevant information stating:

“Today (17/2) a delegation of the PSAPPconsisting of the president of the Association Giorgos Bandis and the Women’s football officials Elena Papadopoulou & Christos Staiko.

It is a substantive, but also with symbolic character first thorough meeting with our representative group, following the decision of our Association for equal entry of female soccer players and their coverage as full members.

Its purpose was to inform soccer players about their labor rightsan area where it needs a big one improvement even at the highest level such as that of the National.

The relevant actions and claims of PSAPP were mentioned, always in direct cooperation with World Association of Footballers and Footballers (FIFPRO).

There was also a special mention for the regulations that have been established by FIFA and concern them rights of female soccer players during their pregnancy and more broadly what secures them as mothers/football players.

At the same time, they were informed about the FIFPRO investigation concerning concussions something that poses risks for their safety, as well as for all the actions and actions of our Association around the emergence and development of Women’s football.

The update also concerned the “Red Button”which is an anonymous football match-fixing reporting mechanism.

The immediate objective of PSAPP is to visit all clubs of the 1st and 2nd division of the Greek women’s league for the full information of its members”.
