Marcelo’s farewell message: “Only gratitude for wearing the Olympiakos jersey”

His own farewell to his family Olympiakou and to the friends of the group he sent Marcelo via social media, just a few hours after termination of the contract of with the “red and whites”.

Specifically, the 34-year-old Brazilian ace thank you the team and its world for the moments he lived, but also for the welcome he received upon his arrival at the Port, while he expressed his deep gratitude of the one who wore the “red and white” shirt.

Marcelo’s message in detail:



“I have lived unforgettable moments in Greece, in which I was warmly welcomed in a new home, not only for me, but also for my family. Piraeus and its people have my whole heart and it will not be my last time in this amazing country. I can only express gratitude for wearing the Olympiakos shirt.

Even though it was a short stay, the experience and friends I made there will forever be marked in my life. Today I say goodbye but I leave my affection and respect to the President, my teammates, all the workers and fans of the club. I wish Olympiakos a successful future!
