Pineda: “Time passes very quickly at AEK, I imagine they will discuss with Telta”

by

He is absolutely delighted with his presence at AEK Orbelin Pineda!

The Mexican midfielder emphasized that time flies very fast in “Union” (a sample of how much fun he has). In fact, when asked if he would remain with the “yellow and black” – where he competes on loan from Want to– if it was up to him, he noted that he imagines that the two groups will discuss. Something that also proves AEK’s intentions.

Naturally, the 26-year-old ace also mentioned the upcoming game with PAOK (19/2, 20:30), underlining the difficulty of the match.

In detail, Orbelin Pineda spoke to NOVA about:

-how he is experiencing the last period with AEK:What I think is that the team is doing great, but we have to keep working every day in training and in matches and the results come the way we want them.».

– the match against PAOK:Tough games are coming and we have to be ready. We know very well that PAOK is a very good team, it is a team that likes to play football, that everyone gives their best. And we have to do this in order to get what we want from the match while offering a nice spectacle. PAOK has good players, I know they will do their best in the match, but I am thinking about our own team. Whoever is called to play will have to give their best so that on Sunday we can put on a spectacle and the people enjoy the game».

-if he sees any differences compared to the first round match against PAOK:It will be a game where we play eleven against eleven. PAOK has good footballers, I know and am aware that they will do their best, but I insist on thinking about our own team. What everyone who is called to play will have to do is give their best, so that on Sunday we can put on a really nice show and entertain the crowd».

-what he would decide about his stay at AEK, if it were up to him:What I can say to be completely honest, is that I try to do from the first day I came what I promised, to give my best. I feel committed to the AEK team. I said that I will give my best to help the team. Beyond that, I honestly can’t tell you what will happen in the future. I have instructed my agent to speak to both teams. I imagine that the two groups will enter into some process (including discussions), but I don’t know at all. All I know is that I am completely focused on AEK’s playing obligations, on my own obligations towards AEK and I give my best every day. What I try to do is to have fun every day and enjoy football every day at AEK».

-the fact that he seems to enjoy football more in AEK:Yes, it’s true that I’m having a great time and the time is passing very quickly. From when I was 16-17 when I started until now that I’m older, what I try to do is enjoy every day. My family is having a great time, we are very good with my family and my friends».
