According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ghana, the procession was accompanied from the airport by the family of the unfortunate footballer and the ambassador of Ghana in Turkey. Initially, a religious ceremony was held and prayers were read, while the Vice President of Ghana, the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of Sports, the Minister of Health, his relatives and admirers attended the ceremony.
