Protagonists Topalidis, Filippou, Hatzigiannis in the Panhellenic race with a lion canoe

The weekend of February 18-19 was held in the beautiful city of Ioannina Panhellenic championship of practical shooting with a leiocano with a large participation of Greek and foreign athletes from Italy, Poland, Bulgaria and Austria.

In Standard category the greatest battle took place between the Greek and the Italian champion who is one of the top shooters in the world with difficult victory of Yiannis Topalidis against Valerios Manasseros where for the second year in a row he was crowned champion in this category, taking three gold medals, one for the rating of the Greek shooters, one in the Standard senior and one for the competition with the international entries. The third place was won by G. Karman and on the fourth o S. Korkolis going up to the podium for the awarding of the Greek athletes.

In Open category Poland’s Niewiedomski won the gold leaving him second G. Iliadisthird ton Yannis Anastasiou and fourth him George Tsekouras who received the respective medals in the Greek awards.

Remarkable presence of the young woman Maria-Lina Vasilatou who although a teenager took the women’s gold medal filling her with pride her mother Eleni Tsopouropoulou who took the silverleaving the copper in Ioanna Gogou which has a lot of room for improvement.
