Club Brugge comfortably, Genk “stuck”.

by

Club Brugge beat Gent 2-0 at Jan Breidel for matchday 27 of the Jupiler League and were held to -20 by leaders Genk, having lost their title hopes and leaving the visitors barely in the top five.

Antwerp was “stuck” at home to Leuven and, with a 1-1 draw at home to its opponent, found itself at -12 in third place from the 2020 champions, with the home team staying at -5 from the privileged eight.

Anderlecht failed to beat Standard Liège and, with the 2-2 draw they conceded to “Constan van De Stock”, they were out of the top eight, leaving the guests in the top seven.

Charleroi beat Saint-Truiden 1-0 at home and “caught” them in the standings, with both now at -2 from the top eight.
