His course Artem Juba after his departure from Zenit did not go well for the Russian footballer, who after a failed move from Adana Demirspor he returned to his homeland for the Lokomotiv Moscow.
The 34-year-old striker spoke about his move to the Muscovites in an interview on YouTube, however much of what he said caused reactions.
Juba commented on his departure from Zenit last summer stating how “They offered me a new contract but it was like they didn’t. But anyway, I didn’t want to stay.
I understood that the team was developing into Zenit Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo. I think the… Brazilian direction is wrong. The Russian team must have a backbone of Russian players. There was no point in going back to Zenit, i am not brazilian and i will not change my passport.
Of course there was no conflict, even today I talk to Malcolm and Barrios. I have never had a problem with children, I protect the interests of his team and those of the Russians.”
Dzyuba, ex-capitao do Zenit, criticized the excess of brasileiros in the team.
“Entendi que o Zenit Sao Peterbsurgo estava se transformando no Zenit Rio de Janeiro, ou Sao Paulo. Isso nao e de todo correto. Tenho uma otima relacao com os brasileiros, mas acho que isso nao e bom” pic.twitter.com/PZG3XFJR9x

At another point in the interview, the Lokomotiv football player spoke about “Reactive behavior towards us abroad is not nice. They took off their masks and showed their behavior. If you treat us like this, we don’t need you. I basically can’t stand them.”
The conversation then turned to social issues, with Juba saying that “I am happy that in my country there is a man and a woman. There are no such incomprehensible things with abortions and sex. So many mythical creatures, non binary personalities appeared. I’m glad we don’t allow that. In our country, there is man and woman, parents are dad and mom. I don’t want to go too deep, but I don’t like what’s going on in the world.”
Regarding his political beliefs, he explained how “I believe in my country, I am a patriot. History will judge everything in the future. Now I am completely with the president, Vladimir Putin, I do not hide it. I believe everything will be fine. That’s how I am, I will be for my country until the end.”
