As the English team informed via Twitter Formula 1the Canadian rider, Lance Strollcompletely overcame the wrist problem and will attend the opening game of the season as normal!
In fact, Aston Martin already had the alternative ready, having warned its backup driver, Felipe Drugovicto replace Stroll.
We remind you that the Canadian driver of the Aston Martin car was injured after fall from his bike, during training he was doing.
Stroll spoke after his injury and said: “It was disappointing not to be in Bahrain for the winter tests and I was disappointed to miss them. However, given my wrist injury, the team and I felt it was best to focus on my recovery to be ready for this weekend and the big season ahead
I would like to thank the F1 community for their support and privacy, as well as the team that helped with my recovery. Now I’m ready to put my head down and focus on racing this weekend which I’m really looking forward to.”
