Grizzlies coach: ‘Morad needs help, we don’t know when he’ll be back’

by

THE Ja Morad has been sidelined by the Grizzlies with no word on when he will rejoin the team, after the night club gun incident while rapping with his friends. Memphis’ coach, Taylor Jenkinsemphasized that the All Star ace needs help and the organization will provide him with the necessary support, but did not absolve him of what he deserves for his irresponsible attitude.

He will be out for at least two games. There is no timetable for his return. It is a healing process that must be followed. This is an issue we all take very seriously. He is a man who needs to get well and needs help. But there is also the issue of responsibility towards the team and what we stand for as an organizationJenkins pointed out.

Nationally there is a lot of attention on the issue of gun use and for us this story with Ja is an opportunity for him to learn and come out better himself. Right now we are focusing on Ja getting the help he needs, but also understanding the responsibilities and expectations of being a team member. We will be by his side, but we are not going to absolve him of his responsibilities“, concluded.
