THE difference, essentially, in relation to what was valid until now, is that an asymptomatic athlete in Greece, who was recorded as Covid-19 case, will be able to return to training after five days of quarantine and, of course, with a negative PCR test. The same athlete will be able to return to normal rhythms without a test, as long as he waits 11 days and show no symptoms of the virus.

Based on the above, and while her teams -and- Super League announcing one after another cases, the League wanted with its official announcement to present the updated guidelines for the coronavirus screening procedure, emphasizing:

«For the complete information of all the fans, regardless of the collective preference and on the occasion of the outbreak of the pandemic, the Super League presents the data on the updated instructions for the COVID-19 control process and for case management in sports, of the General Secretariat of Sports.

The strict observance of the updated instructions for the COVID-19 control procedure and for the case management in sports, of the General Secretariat of Sports, is a basic precondition for the conduct of the games, while based on what is provided, according to the instructions of the competent bodies (GGA, Health Committee), it becomes clear that safeguarding the health of all involved is a primary concern of the Super League.

The successful implementation of the GGA Protocol by all Super League teams is demonstrated by the fact that only 3 games have been postponed, out of a total of 105 games of 15 games to date (this season), ie a percentage of only 2.8%.

The updated instructions for the COVID-19 control process and for the case management in sports, of the General Secretariat of Sports, are posted on the official website of GGA, https://gga.gov.gr/, where anyone can refer.

The instructions define the necessary procedures that all PAEs must follow. participating in the matches of the Super League Interwetten Championship season 2021-2022.
