KAE PAOK has decided to retire the number 7 shirt of the great Bane Prelevic, this was announced at the annual regular general meeting of the company’s shareholders.
“We have decided to retire the number 7 jersey to honor Bane Prelevic. Never again will another player wear the jersey Bane played in. I hope that the stadium will be filled to honor him, first of all, as a former player of our team and as he deserves“, emphasized the president of KAE, Thanasis Hatzopoulos.
The event for the retirement of Bane Prelevic’s shirt is scheduled to take place at PAOK’s home match, for the 21st game of the Basket League, against AEK.
As for the effort to consolidate KAE, he said:I had a dream, that people would come around the team at every event. The world, however, unfortunately, only judges by the competition. We will continue to ‘run’ the team. The income is small and cannot help to see PAOK the way we want, in big… salons. If we love basketball we come to it, without associating it with football, volleyball or anything else. We have paid off past debts, we are consistent every month in our obligations to the public. Competitively, we will try to finish as high as possible in the standings».
