The two teams had met again in midweek, for the 28th game of the Scottish Premiership, with the Celts winning again with a score of 3-1.
They were just as sweeping in the Cup game. Moi opened the scoring in just the second minute of the match, with Hart maintaining the lead by making a great double save afterwards.

Just before the end of the half, Kyogho gave Celtic a safe lead, making it 2-0, while Carter Vickers’ header made it 3-0 in the 80th minute.
