With the playoffs approaching Bucks to have the top record in the NBA, the “fever” of the championship in his team Giannis Antetokounmpo constantly rising.
The Greek star himself spoke to “Athletic” about the feelings that caused him the last time he climbed the highest step of the podium, in 2021, commenting that he would like to experience it again and making a very interesting… simile!

“Man, that feeling, that feeling was great. That feeling was one of the best feelings I’ve ever had and I’m not even going to say what I’m thinking because it will probably go viral. Sorry, but it’s better than getting in touch. You know what I mean; You know, I love my wife. I love my children. (The championship) was the greatest feeling in my life and I definitely want to feel that feeling again. And I want to do it again with my teammates. I want these two, three months of the summer to feel that I am the best player in the world, that our team has won.
I like that feeling, that feeling of working eight months into the season and working your whole life, through all those ups and downs, all those things. Small things add up in this small moment. And it’s either they’re going to have that moment, or we’re going to have that moment. And I’m sorry I want to be that guy to live in that moment, you know? But then again, I can’t predict the future.
I don’t know what’s going to happen, what God has in store for me. I know I’m here to get better. I’m here to go a long way in this league. I don’t think I’m where I want to be. I feel like I can improve tremendously in the next two years. I hope I can. And I can continue to help my team year after year to be one of those four or five teams that have a chance to win a championship.”
