THE Bayern Munich announced that the Andreas Obst signed a new contract extension that will keep him in Bavaria until the end of the 2025-26 season.
“I am very happy that I will be able to wear the Bayern shirt for the next three years, it makes me very proud. I am honored to have the trust of the club. I was made incredibly welcome here from the start and felt at home straight away. That goes for everyone, the team, the staff, the coaches, including the management,” the German said after the deal was announced.
Since joining the BayernThe Obst became German Cup winner twice in 2021 and 2023.
“Andy is the cornerstone of our present and, at the same time, of our future”Bayern’s sporting director said Daniele Bayesi. “He shows incredible character by constantly developing his game.”.
This season, Obst is averaging 9 points, 1.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 5.5 PIR per game in 19 games EuroLeague.
